In 1931, my great Grandfather Joseph J. Mies started his own plumbing company named, Jos. J Mies Shop on Wheels. Once my Grandfather Norman started working with Joseph, the name of the company changed to Joe Mies and Son Plumbing. That name lasted until 1983 when Mike (my father) purchased the company and changed the name to Mies Plumbing.

I (Jeff) started my plumbing career in the spring of 1988 right after graduating high school. Once I completed my plumbing apprenticeship, I continued my education until I received my Masters Plumbing License. I then traveled to other larger shops and installed plumbing systems in hotels, airports, and hospitals.

In 2000, Jami (Wife) and I started the plumbing company, Plumb-Rite Plumbing. We did new construction homes and small commercial properties all over the lower part of Wisconsin.  In 2007, Jami and I purchased a nationwide franchise company (Mr. Rooter and Plumbing). During this time we learned the importance of new technologies for plumbing service work.

During the winter of 2017, we started the plumbing company, Mies Rooter and Plumbing. We specialize in service work for homeowners and commercial clients. We offer many of the newest technology used for the plumbing industry. Such as trenchless sewer repair, Options for replacement of water service and sewer laterals, drain cleaning with flex shaft technologies and jetting, sewer inspections and point repair without excavation. Along with doing a full line of plumbing services; we are the one stop plumbing shop.

Personally, Jami and I have been married since 1992 and have been blessed with three daughters. Our youngest daughter is Aleah. Our middle daughter Alysa, will be marrying Ben Sales in the fall of 2019. Our oldest daughter is Alexa. In 2015, Alexa married Sam Beulen. Sam is completing his plumbing apprenticeship and will be working alongside Jeff. This makes Sam the 5th generation to be serving Fond du Lac and other surrounding areas.
